Karen Kelly
Karen’s career has to date been one of clinical and educational excellence. Beginning her nursing career at University College Dublin where she completed her General Nursing Degree. First working in emergency care and furthering her clinical education with University College Dublin’s Emergency Medicine course. Shifting her focus to children’s nursing she completed the Higher Diploma in Children’s Nursing at Dublin City University, while gaining experience in neurology and paediatric intensive care. It was at this time that Karen began to volunteer for the Jack and Jill Foundation. This was her introduction to complex care in the community, providing respite care to children with complex care needs in their own homes. In 2020 Karen began to work in a professional capacity within complex care. Working in the private sector she was promoted to an 8A equivalent post within a year and continued to develop and grow her caseload and team across Ireland. Karen has recently relocated to London and came to work in her current position in Harmony Healthcare in March 2023 bringing all her skills and expertise to us.
