Susan Jenkins
BSc, HDip, RGN - Head of Nursing and Clinical Excellence
Susan has a 40-year career in nursing across acute and community services, this includes 15 years as a Senior Nurse in the NHS and 8 years as a Senior Nurse in the private sector. Susan’s background includes management, complex care for children and adults in the community, research, education, specialist cancer nursing in a Regional Cancer Centre, Macmillan Cancer Support and palliative care Susan joined Harmony Healthcare in 2022 and is excited to be leading a team of Clinical Case Managers in a forward-thinking company forming partnerships with ICB’s, universities and local authorities around London and the Southeast. Susan’s goal is to deliver excellent clinical care in a culture of compassion and kindness, developing a career pathway for HCA’s to Registered Nurse within Harmony Healthcare and to raise the profile of nursing in social care.
Teresa Wood
RSCN, MNP - Senior Clinical Case Manager
Teresa started her nursing career as a paediatric nurse more than 35 years ago. She has 20 years’ experience as a Community Paediatric Matron, during this period of her career she gained her Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification. Thirteen years ago, Teresa’s community work was recognised when was honoured with entry into The Queen’s Nursing Institute. Over the last three years she has worked in the private sector and is delighted to be working with Harmony Healthcare. Teresa’s passion is being able to continue to ensure good quality practices are maintained and taught and that the next generation of nurses and care staff continue to provide high quality care that She always strives for.
Kamara Silvain
BSc, RNC - Clinical Case Manager

Kamara qualified as a paediatric nurse in 2015 rising rapidly through the ranks in the NHS. She gained experience, in paediatric intensive care, as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and was then promoted into a Sister’s post. For more than four years Kamara has worked in the private sector bringing her skills and experience to provide complex care in the community. Joining us in 2022, Kamara has worked for Harmony Healthcare across Essex and London. She works closely with children, adults, and their families with a real focus on expert clinical care, teaching and mentoring HCA’s and registered nurses to provide a safe, quality service.

Michelle Scott
BSc, RNLD - Learning Disability Case Manager
Michelle started her journey as a learning disability nurse by working as a support worker after leaving university. She then completed her second degree and nurse training and now has 22 years’ experience in the field. She has worked with young people and adults with both mental health and learning disabilities in several settings at a senior level. She has worked across social services, the NHS and the private sector, supporting service users in hospital, residential and supported living services. Michelle came to Harmony Healthcare in 2022 to grow a safe high quality learning disability service starting in Sussex. Her goal is to provide truly person-centred care with a skilled, kind and selected workforce to do so. She has developed and facilitates learning disability and autism training to our workforce as standard, moving onto facilitate Oliver Mc Gowan training.
Lauren McWhirter
BSc, RNLD - Clinical Case Manager
Lauren’s love of working with children with learning disabilities developed at an early age influenced by a local learning disability facility. After completing her RNLD training Lauren worked with adults, children’s continuing care and then focussed on working in education supporting children with learning disabilities. As complex clinical needs were often part of the care required, Lauren has developed her clinical skills over the last nine years, now practicing at a senior level. Lauren came to work at Harmony Healthcare in 2023 and has built her caseload rapidly in Sussex, Hampshire, and Surrey. She delivers learning disability and autism training to our workforce and will be facilitating Oliver McGowan training. Lauren is a skilled, sensitive professional focussed on getting the best for her clients.
Karen Kelly
BSc HDip, RGN - Clinical Case Manager

Karen’s career has to date been one of clinical and educational excellence. Beginning her nursing career at University College Dublin where she completed her General Nursing Degree. First working in emergency care and furthering her clinical education with University College Dublin’s Emergency Medicine course. Shifting her focus to children’s nursing she completed the Higher Diploma in Children’s Nursing at Dublin City University, while gaining experience in neurology and paediatric intensive care. It was at this time that Karen began to volunteer for the Jack and Jill Foundation. This was her introduction to complex care in the community, providing respite care to children with complex care needs in their own homes. In 2020 Karen began to work in a professional capacity within complex care. Working in the private sector she was promoted to an 8A equivalent post within a year and continued to develop and grow her caseload and team across Ireland. Karen has recently relocated to London and came to work in her current position in Harmony Healthcare in March 2023 bringing all her skills and expertise to us.
