Roald Dahl Children's Charity
Providing Specialist Nursing

Our vision is that every seriously ill child has a Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse to help them to lead a more marvellous life. Our mission is to provide specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children living with complex, lifelong conditions. As a charity that works in partnership with the NHS, we find innovative ways to ensure that children and families have the care and support they need. We do this through improving the healthcare outcomes and resilience of children and families, and we focus on complex, lifelong conditions that are underfunded and under resourced.

Dementia UK

Dementia UK is one of the leading dementia charities in the UK and employs over 140 Admiral Nurses in communities up and down the country. These specialist dementia nurses provide expert, practical and emotional care and support for people with dementia and their family carers. As a dementia charity they help families to understand dementia, equip them with the tools and skills they need to effectively manage the condition, and offer psychological support to family carers.
